Since I have not seen many ski club people (1 or two sometimes) out on the trail on Wednesday's I have been biking from Sokolov park (17th Ave SW at the river)
riding to the south starting at 6pm with my work buddies. It crosses a rail bridge and we stop for a water break and see if there is a train coming there.
Sometimes we stop at the shack on the way back north. Often we go as far as the park near where the trail meets ELY road ... Check in if the weather looks questionable. (Info only) the trail is pretty packed on Wednesdays.
