What is this?
Our Presenter for the November member meeting will be Darrin Siefken, owner of CrawDaddy Outdoors. He will explore the best places to kayak in the Midwest. From Iowa rivers to Lake Superior, he will give you enough ideas to get out and enjoy some great paddling. Darrin will also highlight his store and trips that CrawDaddy Outdoors provides.
Food Bank Donations
We invite you once again to bring your monetary or food donations to the November meeting to benefit the Linn Community Food Bank. Our contributions help provide food to families in need and are welcomed year-round. Monetary donations can generate even more food than what each of us can buy on our own and deliver. So your check, payable to
Linn Community Food bank
, is welcomed and it can be claimed as a charitable donation on your tax return.
We Can Always Use:
Canned Items: vegetables, fruit, pork & beans, soup, tuna, and chicken. Creamy peanut butter, instant mashed potatoes, pasta, pasta sauce, macaroni and cheese, saltine crackers, cereal, corn muffin mix, pancake mix. We can also use toilet paper.
Food Items Not Acceptable:
We cannot accept opened, badly damaged or dented containers. Glass containers, home canned food, expired or perishable items.
Thank you in advance for your generosity to the Linn Community Food Bank – feeding the community since 1972.
Marty and Janet Stimson
