Glad we got pictures of the memorial for the rider who lost his life during the derecho when we did. Yesterday I rode that route and the memorial bike was not there.

For those not familiar with the location where the memorial was here's a map of (pre derecho).

I know this is a rather short notice for a ride, but this weather forecast is too good to pass up a fall ride. Let's plan to meet Thursday at 10AM for a ride from Tate Cummins to Solon. I am not sure if Odie's is open again before 3 PM. Lunch can be at Big Grove in Solon or Odie's on the return if they are open for lunch. They have an outdoor area in back so we can remain outside and enjoy the weather. Any riders that plan to meet us in Ely and go to Solon, let me know so we look for you to join us at the Ely Park about 10:40.
