Attention bikers,
We are holding a memorial ride for Pat Hamer, Teresa Smith's brother who passed away 2 years ago. Pat was an avid biker and enjoyed the outdoors immensely.
The ride will commence at the starting point of another brother, Mark Hamer. The address is 9280 Deer Ridge Dr, Cedar Rapids, Ia. We will congregate around 10:00am and set out for Broken Spoke. After about 30 minutes at that establishment, we will set sail for Sag Wagon. Again a 30 minute stay we will then launch for Kick Stand and another great beverage stop. 30 minutes or so the group will blast off for Odies in Ely. Each stop will allow for folks to jump on or jump off depending on your days schedule. There will be shuttle service back to the starting point or any other point of start. We plan to eat lunch on your own in Ely at Odies if we can wait that long. Otherwise the other locations also have menu items that could be had.
Hope to see some or all of the fellow biking enthusiasts from the club who want to start out riding the local trails in 2017.
