Our friends at SOKO Outfitters sent an email announcing they have have Snow shoes & snow trekkers for rent -
$20 per day for snow shoes - w/ poles
$25 per day for snow trekkers w/ poles (those are the cool cross between fat XC skis & snow shoes they had at our meeting last year)
They advise everyone to call ahead for availability 319-200-4848, but they have plenty in stock.
It is a great day to be outside enjoying the new snow!

If you haven't been there before SOKO Outfitters is located in the Czech Village next to the Red Lion Brewery. It is a great store with all kinds of cool gear, clothes & stuff.
