LeeAnn Eddins first joined EISC in 2008 and rejoined in 2023. “So many friends welcomed me back—I felt right at home.” LeeAnn and her husband of 19 years, Stu Eddins, live in Cedar Rapids. She has been an active member of EISC and served as Trip Co-Chair for a Minneapolis Ski Trip. Some of you may recall a caveman extravaganza at a Baraboo Ski Trip she co-chaired during her first term with the club many years ago.
Creatively employed as both a graphic designer and sometimes party decorator, LeeAnn helped with the recent Mardi Gras-themed post-party. She owns her own business and also teaches graphic design classes at Kirkwood Community College. She is involved in the community--serving on professional boards, volunteering for charity, and as an Economic Alliance Ambassador. "While I am a natural joiner, Stu resists becoming a member of EISC, exhibiting the reclusive temperament of a Yeti." She continues, "he was spotted at an event this summer, though, so maybe there will be another sighting soon. He is known to create a seriously good chili, so stay tuned." Thank you LeeAnn for being an active member of EISC.
