Here’s the plan for the ride on Friday, July 19. It will be a 26 mile ride from Tate Cummings to Solon.
Be ready to ride at 8 AM from Tate Cummings. NOTE: Wilson Avenue is CLOSED at Bowling Street. Use your GPS for routing to get to C Street.
We will plan to make a stop at My Mom’s Bakery in Ely. The selection of goodies can be limited and they encourage a call to place an order for your cinnamon roll, quiche, lemon bar or a kolache in advance. The number is 319-360-1303.
From Ely we will head to Solon, turn around and head back. Those who want a brew and lunch can swing over to the Shack Tavern when we return to Tate Cummings. Hopefully a ride this early leaves you plenty of time for other plans later in the day.
