EISC Members,
We need your help organizing fun events and activities this year. If you have ideas or interested in leading an event we would like to hear from you. There are a couple of weekends in August and September that are available. For example, 8/10 - 8/11 and 8/24 - 8/25 and September 8/1 - 8/20.

- Iowa State Fair, Des Moines 8/8/ - 8/18
- BRIC - Bike Ride of Iowa County, Amana 8/10
- Drive to Maquoekta for river kayaking, kayak rental or visit Maquoekta Caves, 8/24 - 8/25 or early September
- Iowa Craft Beer Bash, Amana 9/1
- Dubuque Oktoberfest, Dubuque, 9/14
- Maqtoberfest, Maquoekta, 9/14
- Ely Fall Fest, Ely, 9/21 - 9/23
- Classic Car Show, Thomas Park, Marion, 9/29
- Octoberfest, Amana 10/04 - 10/6
- Winter Fun Trip - January 2025
We are in need of members to help lead a Midwest Winter Trip in January 2024. Some ideas include: skiing at Welch Village and Wild Mountain in MN with overnight stay at St. James Hotel in Red Wing, MN. Trip can also include non-ski activities. Or, a 1-day trip or overnight stay and Chestnut Mountain with shopping in downtown Galena, IL.
