Scenic View at Pinicon Ridge State Park (Sunday 10/13 at 2:00 pm) - Meet at the South Entrance, 4732 Horseshoe Falls Rd, Central City, IA. Meet at 2:00 pm at the Boat Rental parking lot at the 'Watercraft Concessions' area. We will walk, bike, hike along the paved trail. You can also visit the Observation Tower for a spectacular view at 1,028 feet above sea level. Afterward, we will meet at 5:00 pm at the BIT Brewery, 26 Fourth St N, Central City, IA. Reservation is under the name "East Iowa Ski Club".
Friday Night at May City Bowl (Friday 10/18 at 6:00 pm) - Enjoy a fun night of bowling or socializing at May City Bowl, 1648 Trent St SW, Cedar Rapids, IA. Friday night's include black lights and neon colors. You do not have to bowl to attend. Food and drink menu is available. Group price: $3.00 per game (shoe rental included at no extra charge). EISC Member Meeting Halloween Theme (Sat 10/19) - The next EISC Meeting is scheduled at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1620 E. Avenue NE, Cedar Rapids, IA. Setup at 6:30 pm. Halloween costumes are welcome. Social time begins at 7:00 pm. The member meeting will follow at 8:00 pm. Bring snacks and appetizers to share. Beverages will be available for purchase from the KC Hall. Sign-up for trips and social events. We will get a group picture of members in costume. Guests are encouraged to attend and are welcome.
