The annual Corn Roast will be hosted by Sally Williams at her farm near the Eastern Iowa Airport This weekend!
Activities will start at 3:00pm with beanbag toss, croquet, etc. The grill will be fired up around 5 pm. For those who like to camp you are welcome to bring a camper or a tent. Bring a dish to pass, a meat to grill, BYOB (your favorite adult beverage), your favorite lawn chair, any yard games you want to play, and a friend or two. We will provide plates, utensils, sweet corn, pop, bottled water, grill and KYBO. Cost is FREE. Many trips have gone on sale but if trips are not sold out you can sign up or get on wait list. This event is open to members and non-members.
How to find it: You can put 5305 Walford Rd, Fairfax, Iowa into your phone GPS or, from I-380 turn west on Wright Brothers Blvd, turn left (south) at the first gravel road past the airport (Cherry Valley Rd), then turn right (west) on Walford Road and proceed 1/4-mile. Watch for the farm on the left with the EISC signs. Let me know if any questions. See you there!
