ANNUAL CORN ROAST THIS SATURDAY AT SALLY WILLIAMS' FARM NEAR THE EAST IOWA AIRPORT
Activities will start at 3:00pm. There will be a short member meeting at 4:30. The corn boilers and grill will be fired up around 5 pm. .We always need help with shucking corn so come early and help. Bring a dish to pass, a meat to grill, BYOB (your favorite adult beverage), your favorite lawn chair, any yard games you want to play, and a friend or two. We will provide plates, utensils, sweet corn, pop, bottled water, grill and KYBO. Cost is FREE.
There are just a few spots remaining on the Whitefish, Montana ski trip, so come and sign up or get on the wait list.
How to find it: You can put 5305 Walford Rd, Fairfax, Iowa into your phone GPS or, from I-380 turn west on Wright Brothers Blvd, turn left (south) at the first gravel road past the airport (Cherry Valley Rd), then turn right (west) on Walford Road and proceed 1/4-mile. Watch for the farm on the left with the EISC signs. See you there!
