Project Aware Paddling Cleanup--July 12-17

Project Aware has announced this year's paddling event. Iowa Project AWARE (A Watershed Awareness River Expedition) is an annual, week-long volunteer river cleanup and educational expedition, typically held in July, where hundreds of participants paddle a new Iowa waterway each year to remove, recycle, and study trash. This year they will be working the Turkey and Little Turkey Rivers July 12-17. 

The board thought we would make the members aware who might want to volunteer for this worthy event.  Contact the board if you would like to attend and encourage others to attend. This might be a fun event for our members.
