It’s back! Our annual Open House and Ski Swap! Enjoy chairlift rides, food from Grillbilly’s BBQ, and live music from 1 PM-5 PM from Nate Jenkins, and visit the swap meet to buy/sell gently used ski equipment. Plus, this is your last chance to purchase either your Weekend or Weekday Warrior Pass and Full Season Pass before the final price increase on Nov. 14th. Advanced purchased passes will also be available for pick up in our Mountain Center. Make plans to join us as we prepare for another wonderful season on the slopes creating generations of memories!

Ski/Snowboard Swap Details:

Every fall, the Sundown Ski Patrol holds a fundraiser to support the patrol. All proceeds from the annual Ski/Snowboard Swap go to benefit the Sundown Ski Patrol and assist with continued Outdoor Emergency Care training and education.

Bring your lightly used gear to sell and buy some new or used gear. You’ll find plenty of new and used gear including boots, skis, snowboards, helmets, poles, clothing, gloves, and more. There are some restrictions on what ski/snowboard boots and ski bindings the ski patrol can sell. A list of indemnified bindings will be available at the swap check-in counter.

Equipment check-in (sell your stuff): Saturday, November 12th at 8:00 – 11:00 AM; please no Sunday check-ins.

The Ski Patrol charges a $5.00 handling fee for 1-5 items and $2.00 for each additional item that you ask us to sell for you. This amount is due when you drop off your items. If your items sell, we send you a check for the total item minus 15% of the sale, which the Ski Patrol keeps. If your item is not sold, you must pick it up between 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday, November 13th.

Swap Sale: Sunday, November 13th from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Equipment check-out/pick up: Sunday, November 13th from 3:00 – 5:00 PM

Any equipment not picked up by 5:00 PM Sunday, November 13th will be considered a donation. The ski patrol may sell your item, or dispose of it accordingly and retain any and all funds from the sale of your item. DO NOT CALL Sundown Mountain and ask about your items. The staff of Sundown Mountain does not deal with your items. They are considered the responsibility of the Sundown Ski Patrol. Email brameljodie@gmail with any questions or concerns.
