There is 1 spot remaining on the Minneapolis Ski & Fun trip scheduled January 5 - 7th, 2024. "First come first serve". Please contact Todd Eadie at 319-777-8306 (phone or text) as soon as possible. Send $112 payment to EISC before December 15th deadline to reserve a hotel room.
Total price $112 includes 2-night stay at Country Inn & Suites, Woodbury, MN, continental breakfast, pool, hot tub and welcome reception at Green Mill Restaurant on Friday, January 5th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Hors d'oeures are provided. Menu is available for additional food or drink. Travel, meals and entertainment are not included. EISC newsletter includes links to website, addresses and phone numbers of attractions that are available.
This is a drive yourself / carpool trip to Minnesota! You can choose any combination of skiing for non-skiing activities. Ski lift tickets must be purchased 1-2 weeks in advance of the trip and are non-refundable.
Choose from activities:
- Saturday, January 6th - skiing at Afton Alps where EPIC Pass is accepted or non-skiing activity (such as 90-min tour of "Paisley Park", shopping at Mall of America, etc). After a fun day of skiing, shopping, etc we will meet in the evening for dinner/entertainment (TBD).
- Sunday, January 7th - skiing at Welch Village or non-skiing activity (such as shopping in Hastings, MN).
Attention skiers: print and sign the release forms (see attached). The Parents Release Form must also be completed for anyone under 18 years old is planning to ski during this trip; signed by a Parent or Legal Guardian. Complete the forms in the next few weeks and bring to the next EISC meeting on December 16th. Ski trail maps to Afton Alps and Welch Village are attached. Some skiers may prefer to ski at Afton Alps on both Saturday and Sunday using the EPIC Pass. Anyone interested should drive together form hotel and then home at the end of the day. Make arrangements prior to the trip.
