The Christmas Holiday version of the EISC meeting will be Sat Dec 16 at the Knights of Columbus Council 909, 1620 E Ave NE, Cedar Rapids. Make it festive – wear your favorite Christmas sweater (naughty or nice) and bring your favorite holiday treats to share. Beverages can be purchased from the KC Hall. (Remember to tip your bartender.) Guests are encouraged and welcome.

Bring your cards and games early – 5:30 and enjoy some early social time. Please help the club by arriving early – 6:30 for setup of tables and chairs, being a door worker, or cleanup. Volunteer signups are available on-line. Social time begins at 7:00 pm and our regular meeting at 8:00 pm.
 
Then…mark your calendars for the Annual Chili/Soup cookoff meeting on Sat Jan 20, 2024. Look for your favorite and award-winning soup recipes to bring to the competition. This fun event will be held at the Red Cedar Lodge, Wanatee Park, Marion. We are looking for volunteers to coordinate the contest and voting. More details will be available in the January Skiddoo newsletter.
