You are invited to watch the Cardboard Boat Regatta. Arrive at 9:00 am at Ellis Park on June 8th at Robbins Lake located at 2550 Ellis Blvd, NW (between Edgewood Rd and the boat house harbor). Bring a chair or a blanket to sit on. You are welcome to wear EISC t-shirts or green bandanas. Look for the EISC sign to meet other members. This is a FREE event.
EISC will be featuring the red, white & blue kayak in the Exhibition event at 10:00 am in memory of long-time member, Steve Sutliff. Steve loved the Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival and participated in many events every year. This kayak was raced by Steve in 2005 earning a second place trophy. Sadly, he passed away in 2006 at the age of 61.
