Fifteen members attended the November EISC Culinary event at Oyama Sushi in Cedar Rapids. The group went there a couple of years ago, but it was still a fun evening.
The restaurant has a regular seating area on one side, and a group hibachi area on the other. We went to the hibachi side, which still has a fairly extensive menu. The food is flavorful, portion sizes were huge, with several people taking home leftovers, and prices were very reasonable.
We all enjoyed good food, drinks, and conversation. I think Todd Eadie and my eyebrows are starting to grow back!
The next culinary event will be at Napoli’s, 500 Marion Blvd, Marion (northwest of Thomas Park) on Monday, December 9 at 6:00 pm.
