EISC Board Election Lineup

Mary Day: I am a long time EISC member. Currently I serve on the Board as Secretary. I also handle Memberships and Communication. The members of EISC are my mainstays. I love to travel, especially with these friends.

Bill Clark: I have been a member of the East Iowa Ski Club for two years. Since joining, my wife Jill and I have been on the Crested Butte and Breckenridge ski trips, and are looking forward to going to Copper Mountain this year. During the summer, we've enjoyed the camping and bicycling adventures, as well as the Canyonlands and walleye fishing trips. I really liked learning to play pickleball as well as trying new foods at some of the ethnic dinners. As you can see, I've benefited from many of the activities that the club offers, and feel that being a member of the board is my opportunity to give back to the group

Marty Stimson: For those that may not know me, my name is Marty Stimson. I have been a member of our ski club since 1989 when I married my wife Janet as she was already a member and said it was a fun group and she was right. Probably the most enjoyable part I like about our club besides the social support and gatherings is all the many varied activities and trips the club does. Ski trips have been a big part of our vacation plans for many years but skiing isn’t our only interest. To my picture, boating and fishing is my second biggest interest along with travel and sightseeing in general. I believe as a club, we definitely need to continue promoting and doing ski trips. But with our multi-interest membership, we also need to promote and offer other nonski trips. Depending on the travel location, trips can be a combination of a variety of activities. Even winter fly fishing! As a continuing board member, I would work to offer a variety of week long, weekend trips, and social outings.
