Don Uhl has Passed

Don Uhl passed away at the age of 92 on the evening of April 20th at the West Ridge Care Center. For those that didn't know Don, he was a long-time past member of ski club going back to at least the early 70's.
Don was an avid skier who absolutely loved the sport. As Don’s obituary reads, “Don lived with a competitive zest for life”. For those of us who knew him there are no better words.
A few weeks back Don took a bad fall and broke his hip and leg. He was recovering and starting rehab in a nursing home when he passed away. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7pm., Tuesday, May 2 at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, in Cedar Rapids.
